Description and History: This ordinary-looking two-story house (shown below), blended into a suburban neighborhood, is actually an old farmhouse built about 1790. A rear addition was added about 1920. The farmhouse is shown on an 1875 map as belonging to “M. Thompson,” on ten acres with a springhouse and outbuilding. The Thompson Nature Park next door (shown above) is a small part of this old farmstead.
